Amanda Telford

We all face times when we feel stuck, overwhelmed, directionless, hopeless, or helpless. I would be honoured to accompany you on your journey towards finding inner peace.  I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative, Attachment, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy into my practice. My therapeutic approach is best described as collaborative, compassionate, accepting, empathetic, skill-building, safe and confidential.

I work with children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma, whether from domestic violence, sexual abuse, or other life events.  I have a keen interest in working with depression, anxiety, panic, ASD, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorders, developmental disabilities, and

other life situations such as life transitions, grief and loss, self-criticism, negative thinking, perfectionism, communication, and self-harm/suicidal ideation.

I am supervised by Dr. Diana Garcia and can offer insurance receipts.
