Become an associate member

Be an Associate Therapist at the Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma! We are recruiting therapists to join our trauma-focused practice.

Associate Therapists:

  • See clients on-site or online, and rent space from the Centre for Treatment

  • Regularly participate in activities of the Centre, including committee meetings and strategic planning

  • Provide leadership, wisdom, and creativity to Centre operations and initiatives

  • Make a difference in the community and participate in the volunteer activities of the Centre

 

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in the treatment of PTSD and trauma-related issues and disorders. They practice psychotherapy as a registered member (or eligible for registration) of a professional College in Ontario and carry their own professional liability insurance. The candidacy period lasts for six months, during which candidates will receive a number of client referrals from the Centre for Treatment. Candidates will meet regularly with an assigned mentor and will be required to meet the full obligations of an Associate Therapist for the duration of their candidacy period.

Mandatory: licenses or certifications:

  • Registered Member of Professional College in Ontario
