The decision to seek support takes courage and I applaud you for making this choice. We all face challenges in our life and it would be a privilege to have the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey.

As a psychotherapist, I believe that people are capable of growth and change. I empower clients to access their internal resources and to own all of their parts while practicing self-compassion. I offer my clients a safe, supportive, and a nonjudgmental space for their healing journey to flourish. Goals are addressed collaboratively through inviting the clients to identify and explore their needs.

Cultural competency is a significant part of my approach, as I work with culturally diverse clients. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who are faced with issues related to trauma. I also provide individual, couple, and family therapy to individuals who are experiencing issues related to depression, anxiety, self-harm, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, identity, grief, and loss.

Regardless of the challenges that you are struggling with, cultural sensitivity is a significant part of my approach, as each one of you has their own unique culture. Together, we will find out what your needs are and what approach works best for you. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, as I believe that no single approach fits everyone. Together we will find out what approach best suits your needs. Some of the approaches I use include:

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Attachment-focused Therapy

Ego-state Therapy
