DOHA MOHARRAM
MA., RP
As a Psychotherapist, I believe that people are capable of growth and change. I empower clients to access their internal resources and to own all of their parts while practicing self-compassion. Goals are addressed collaboratively by inviting clients to identify and explore their needs. I strive to create an atmosphere that is built on safety, acceptance, and respect. I place great importance on creating a compassionate and caring therapeutic relationship with all my clients.
Cultural sensitivity is a central part of my approach. My areas of special interest include trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, depression, and anxiety.
Psychodynamic Therapy is my main approach to therapy, while also operating from an evidence-based attachment approach. In addition to that, I incorporate aspects from Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. Together, we will discover what your needs are and what approach works best for you.
