Seeking help is not always easy. My role is to support you through difficult times and help you move toward positive change. I am a Registered Psychotherapist who practices psychotherapy with an integrative, trauma-informed approach. I draw on attachment theory, emotion focused therapy, psychodynamic principles and others to work with each client individually. I will work with you to address more than just symptom reduction. Through the exploration of deep issues and concerns we can work together to encourage long-term change. I use both Brainspotting and NeurOptimal® neurofeedback to work with the brain's inherent ability to heal.
I believe the key to effective therapy is a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am committed to providing a warm and judgment-free atmosphere to explore whatever issues you are struggling with. I have worked extensively with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, sexuality and gender, and trauma.
I have particular interest in supporting members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community as well as training and experience offering multiculturally competent services that honour diversity. I work from a trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-oppressive stance.
